To celebrate the first anniversary of the recreation of The Elizabethan Garden at Kenilworth Castle, English Heritage is recreating another stunning Elizabethan spectacle – the ‘ambrosial’ 300 dish dessert banquet reportedly served to Queen Elizabeth I during her stay there in 1575.
The 2010 Exmoor Food Festival, which will run over ten days from Saturday 2nd to Sunday 10th October, provides a showcase for local produce from a variety of independent food and drink producers based in the scenic Exmoor area.
Chocolate Week, the UK’s favourite themed week, kicks off on 11th October this year and culminates in a dedicated chocolate show, Chocolate Unwrapped, at Vinopolis on 16th & 17th October. Chocolate Week promotes the exceptional British chocolatiers and the fantastic chocolates they produce, and encourages people to visit our wonderful, indulgent chocolate shops.
